We'll pick you up in Manuel Antonio and take you to the lush mountains of Esquipulas. Our adventure begins with a unique experience that is both informative and hands-on, featuring a special visit to a viewpoint where you'll savor the rainforest's flavors with delicious homemade treats showcasing spices grown on the farm.

Stop by the spice shop to pick up some goodies to take home. Then, we will head two miles up the road to the next village for a refreshing dip in a waterfall that flows from the rainforest into the Naranjo River.

Relax and splash around until it’s time to walk up to Doña Luz’s home for an interactive lesson on making homemade tortillas, followed by an authentic lunch cooked over a wood-burning stove.

Early afternoon return to Manuel Antonio.

  • This day tour lasts approximately 6 hours from pick-up at your hotel or home in Manuel Antonio/Quepos, until your return.

    Pick-Up Time: 8:00 am

    • Transportation from/to your hotel or rental home in Manuel Antonio/Quepos

    • Entrance and tour at spice farm

    • Waterfall hike at Chorro Ecolodge

    • Visit to the private home of Doña Luz for a cultural and delicious lunch
